Step 1) Log into Git Hub
Step 2) Navigate to the ‘moodedge/edge’ Repository
You’ll enter the repo overview screen – on this screen select the ‘issues’ tab
Step 3) With the issues tab open – click the ‘new issue’ button
This gives you a choice of templates – select the one that is relevant to the issue, in most cases it will be ‘UI bug’
Step 4) This gives the issue report screen
It’s important to go to the right side bar and under the label’s option to add the ‘in UAT’ label – I’d do this first so you don’t forget.
You can then add either the ‘bug’ or ‘question’ label
Then fill in a bug title with which feature and a brief description of the issue
The text box for the issue has a template of information required – fill in as many as possible for the issue.
Try and include the exact date and time of the issue and correlation ID if possible.
Don’t forget to hit the ‘Submit’ button to save the issue to git hub!
