Static web publish - what can't you do in MooD 16?

We would like to be able to provide to prospective customers and partners (i.e. outside of our organisation) a navigable, interactive representation of our model. These external organisations may not have, and may not be willing to acquire, MAE. Whilst PowerPoint is useful for providing a structured presentation of any 'story' that we wish to tell, it does not allow the external organisation to drill-down into specific areas of interest in an intuitive and interactive way. Although static publishing has some issues, it does allow us to provide a set of files that the external organisation can peruse as they see fit.

Craig has articulated our issues precisely.  For reasons I won't elaborate on here, we currently have access to an MAE server but next year it is likely we won't: without a means of sharing content with externals MBA becomes almost useless to us and thus we'll probably have to look at alternatives, which is a shame as I think there are some excellent features in MBA that aren't available in other tools.

Craig i believe has captured the business case that most suits my examples as well. In my case, there are customer on a Security bound infrastructure, they currently use static web publish to transfer a version of their models onto a DVD and over to this segregated network for analysis an comment.
