Using an image as a model display

As an architect I want to be able to use an image associated to an element (in a field, so therefore editable) to control the visual representation of it as an element, but also in charts such as network and radial.

This is something that I would use for every project, and would lead to a better look and feel of models

  Graeme,  some of what you say sounds similar to a request I raised through the helpdesk (#702356) which was solved via the Generic XHTML panel - hopefully someone can send you that solution.  I doubt it would work for charts though.
