Important - Known issue with recent Windows Updates
Dear all,
We're currently investigating an issue where Business Architect exhibits severe failures after the latest Windows Updates are installed. We haven't narrowed down which particular update this is, but we believe it's a major feature update (May 2019) which is being slowly rolled out.
If you experience failures where if you drag a graph or control onto a model (or Formatted text editor, showing some text) and MooD appears to wait a very long time, the current workaround is to:
In your windows search bar, type: OptionalFeatures.exe
This will launch the Turn Windows Features on or off applet.
Now find the Internet Information Services feature
Expand it, and find the World Wide Web Services feature
Expand it, and find the Security feature
Expand it and tick Request Filtering.
Press OK
This should fix the issue, but the side affect of the current workaround is that the installer has installed Internet Information Services on the machine.
FYI: To digitise representations of controls as they would appear on the web, Business Architect uses a mini web server underneath, so hence, why Request Filtering components may impact the product.

Update: This appears to have been an issue introduced by the installation of .NET 4.8, and fixed in KB4511555 released August 30th 2019.
