Smart columns as dimensions in agg. matrices

Example of use: I have created a smart column that "buckets" all my percentages in intervals so that 0-10 is 10, 11-20 is 20, etc. I would love to be able to use this smart column as a dimension in my aggregation matrix which would allow me to bucket a graph instead of having a graph with lots of percentages spread all over (33,35,36,38,40,56,96,98) -> (40,60,100). This technique is commonly known as "buckets" when doing graphs and even if the graph type didn't support it, this approach would allow me to do it.

Agreed! Another version of this would be to add facts to the levels creator.

i.e. you can currently group by a number field.. Why can't that number field contain some logic?

(You can already work around this by creating a custom aggregation, if you're desperate?)

    Matt.

Matt, and by custom aggregation you mean matrix with custom SQL? (which is black magic to 99% of MooDlers, but yes :) )
