Copy and Paste parts of Facts

I want to be able to select the whole of or part of a Fact and copy it for use in another fact such a part of an Embedded Fact.

So that I can create facts more quickly with fewer errors.  Had this functionality been available I could have saved 10s of hours developing the Defence Fuels applications.

Benefit:  Significantly reduced development time in Fact heavy applications with fewer opportunities for error:  At least 2 days would have been saved building matrices and charts in Defence Fuels.

Acceptance criteria:

1. I create a Fact in a Smart Column or Aggregation Matrix
2. I select all or part of the Fact
3. I have the option to copy the selection
4. I create a new Fact in the Aggregation Matrix, another Aggregation Matrix or another Smart Column.
5. I can paste into the new Fact and then add to or edit the Fact.
6. I should be able to paste into any of the Fact types

  Hi Rupert, I also want this feature! The problem with implementing it is the complex logic about which types of expression are allowed inside each fact. Another way to get the same result is to use a cached Smart Column inside facts of other Aggregations/Smart Columns.
