Import of content that includes relationships from relationships to other elements into a repository based on the ArchiMate Blueprint
As an Enterprise Architect
I want to be able to import content that describes an architecture that includes relationships from relationships to other elements into a repository based on the ArchiMate Blueprint
So That I can accurately and quickly capture an architecture that includes relationships from relationships to other elements in a repository based on the ArchiMate Blueprint from an external source (eg Excel or a MooD repository not based on the ArchiMate Blueprint
- MooD is more likely to be the Enterprise Architecture tool-of-choice amongst our customers and potential customer
- Speedy and accurate recreation of ArchiMate based architectures that include relationships from relationships to other elements
- I can save days of work not having to manually recreate architecture models in repositories based on the ArchiMate Blueprint
- Acceptance Criteria
- I create a repository from the ArchiMate Blueprint
- I select or create an Excel spreadsheet that describes an architecture that includes relationships from relationships to other elements
- I create a Denormalised (or other suitable SAT) that takes my Excel spreadsheet as a source
- I set up the SAT using the wizard as normal
- When I reach the Source and Target connections screen, I can connect the relationships from relationships to other elements
- I save and execute the SAT
- When I inspect the target themes and types in the repository, all elements and relationships have been imported.
I should be able to run a similar import from a MooD repository not based on the ArchiMate Blueprint into a repository based on the ArchiMate Blueprint using the MooD Repository Import Synchroniser
