Using SQL Full-text Indexing From within MooD - anyone tried it?

Morning everyone,

I have a couple of repositories that are getting a little text-heavy and could do with a search facility that is better than that provided by MooD out of the box. One possibility is to incorporate access to the SQL Full-Text Indexing capabilities of the underlying database server - I wondered if anyone has had a go with this and can report on results either way.

Full text indexing is usually on by default for HTML field values, if your SQL Server had it installed at the time of repository creation. It will take your queries down from minutes to milliseconds. Chris Green is about to publish an article that shows you how to enable this feature if it's not currently enabled. Check in with Chris to find out more.
