New features have been introduced improving the user experience of clicking or hovering over areas of a visualization, which represent navigable MooD elements.
This is particularly useful considering that navigating to elements without models or model masters may result in a banner warning.
hasAction
A new method hasAction has been added to the custom visualization API, this enables developers to determine if clicking an element would result in a web page or a "There is nothing to navigate to" banner message.
This could be useful to present a different icon when a user hovers their mouse over parts of the visualization, and to prevent the standard banner message appearing.
If an API request is forcefully made to navigate to an element when an action is not available, then the user will be presented with a banner warning at the bottom of the page.
Default navigation menu.
MooD provides a built-in and configurable menu which is dynamically created from the options configured in Business Architect. The menu automatically disables options which do not have actions. However, if a disabled option is clicked the banner warning will appear at the bottom.
This feature was introduced in 16.082
