Visualisation the concept of relationships from relationships to elements
On behalf of Rupert Holmes,
As an Enterprise Architect
I want to be able create models that show relationships from relationships to elements
So That I can create better models that accurately represent the architecture model that I have create. This functionality is especially important for modelling in ArchiMate where relationships from relationships to elements are used extensively.
Benefits I will create correct ArchiMate models. I want to be able to show on models artefacts (relationships from relationships to elements) that I have in my architecture.
Acceptance Criteria
- I create elements (eg Process 1, Process 2, Information A)
- I create relationships between the elements as required for my model (eg Process Flow relationships)
- I create relationships from relationships to elements as required (eg Process Flow Conveys Information)
- I create a view (Model) and drop the elements that I want to show on my model
- I connect the elements with the relationships created at step 2
- I connect the relationships created at step 3 from relationships to elements
Alternatively I can use the Relationship Link tool to create the relationships on the Model.
Alternatively I can use the Follow Dependency tool to add the relationships to the Model.
