How to Use Data Elements in Queries
Data Tables are primarily used in Queries and Aggregations. Queries can be used to access and filter down the individual Data Elements.
Data Elements can be selected in Queries in a similar fashion to regular MooD Elements.
When using 'Types' as a starting point, selecting a Data Table will return all the Data Elements from that table.
You can then drag in the returned Data Elements to a query using 'Elements' as a starting point. Data Elements don't exist in the explorer bar so cannot be dragged into a query as you can with MooD Elements. Instead they can be accessed from returned query results, as mentioned, or from the definition window.
To access Data Elements from the definition window, preview the data table and float the window. Then drag a row and drop it into a select element location.
