Inspecting Matrices En-masse

Currently it may be hard for a solution administrator to know where matrices are used and whether they are of value.

To allow the administrator to make informed decisions, as to whether matrices can be removed or not, a new report has been created to view the following information for all matrices within a repository:

• ID
• Name
• Summary
• Subject
• Modified date
• What Queries and Smart Columns each matrix uses
• Used By

How to: from within the Explorer bar, under "Analysis" and then "Matrices", click on the settings cog and then click "Report".

Some users may already be used to a similar report for Queries; this has been enhanced to include the following information:

• ID column
• Used By (this existed but only showed where used by queries and matrices, but has now been expanded to show all instances of use)
• What Queries and Smart Columns each query uses

These changes are made available in Build 85
