A special MooD licence file is required to operate a licence server. It specifies the maximum number of licences allowed to be served.
Once this special licence is copied over to the server, the following steps would need to be followed in order to install it:
-Launch Repository Manager (Run as Administrator).
-Click 'File'.
-Click 'Manage Licence'.
-Click 'Install a new licence...'.
-The licence can be located by clicking on 'Browse'.
-Click 'Install'.
- You may need to restart the MooD Licence Server Service in the services control panel.
Now make sure you add a port exception on the Server
An inbound TCP Port rule must be added in Windows Firewall specifying port '16000' in order to allow connections to the Licence Server.
For each client
-Open MooD on the terminal as an 'Administrator'.
-Open 'Manage Licence'.
-Add the name or IP address of the licence server in the 'Name' field.
-Test the connection to the server.
-Click 'OK'.
-The 'Manage Licence' will display the licence information and expiry date.
-The licence expiry can be extended up to 30 days maximum.
Advanced - You can alter the port the licence server listens on by altering the port setting on the server, leaving the name blank, then restarting the service, and reconfiguring the clients appropriately. If you require mass rollout of client updates to this setting, you can find the registry settings in a key similar to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MooD International\Licence\<Version>
