How to Create a New MS Excel Import Synchronizer
All MooD Synchronizers are held in the Synchronize Library.
- Open the Explorer Bar on the left-hand side of the interface. Under Libraries, click ‘Synchronize’.
- Open the Insert Gallery on the Home tab in the ribbon and expand the list
- Navigate to the Microsoft Office group and click on "Microsoft Excel Import"
- Name the new Excel Import Synchronizer

Excel Import Synchronizer Wizard
Business Architect includes a wizard to help you format the Excel import. Because spreadsheet data structures and repository targets can vary so widely, this wizard supports several different starting points called layouts. Choosing a layout is the first thing you do in the wizard. Once a layout is selected, the wizard adjusts to take you through a series of stages specific to that layout.
The next step is always selecting the Data Range. This allows MooD to know what data you want imported. The final step is selecting the Data Types of each field allowing the table in the source area to be created.
