Container Elements
As a Synchronizer imports or updates elements in a repository, the Target side of the Design Panel’s Add tab lists all the themes in your repository. When you drag one of these into the Mapping tab’s Target area, MooD needs to know which element within that theme will contain the elements to be created or updated. This is the container element. MooD will prompt for this.
Once the container element is known, MooD creates a table in the Target area. Its title includes the container element’s name.
How to Select the Container Element
- Open the Add tab in the Design Panel
- Select and drag a target Theme to the Target Area of the Mapping
- Select an element from the ‘Select a Container Element’ dialogue box
- Click ‘OK’

- Open the Mapping
- Click the cog icon on the target table
- Select ‘Change the container Element’
- Select an Element from the ‘Select a Container Element’ dialogue box
- Click ‘OK’
