Parameterized Queries

Parameterized Queries are Queries with a parameter as its Starting Block. This introduces a greater degree of flexibility as the Query results are not tied to a specific set of starting Elements, but instead upon the chosen parameter value.

You can use a single parameterized Query to populate many Info Panels by using the subject Element of the Info Panel as the chosen Query parameter in each case.

Creating a Parameterized Query

To create a parameterized query select “the parameter” as the starting block. Add any find blocks and where expressions needed to complete the query.

Testing a Parameterized Query

1. Open the test tab located in the window on the right.
2. Drag an Element into the box under Query Parameter.
   • This Element will act as the Starting Point for your Query.
3. Click Test.
